Creative English Tutor for Kids | Fun, Interactive Lessons for Young Learners

I am a motivated and enthusiastic English tutor with handson teaching experience and a strong passion for education, creativity, and communication. Currently, I am a first-year Graphic Design student at İzmir University of Economics, which allows me to bring creativity, visual thinking, and engaging materials into my lessons. My academic background helps me design lessons that are not only educational but also fun, interactive, and visually appealing especially for young learners.
I have experience teaching English to children aged 6, conducting regular in-person lessons in a home-based learning environment. These lessons have helped me develop strong classroom management skills, patience, and the ability to adapt teaching methods to different learning styles. I focus on building a positive and encouraging atmosphere where students feel comfortable making mistakes and gaining confidence in using English.
Although I do not yet hold formal certifications such as CELTA or TESOL, I am actively planning to complete these qualifications within the year. My English level is strong, and I have a solid foundation in language learning, including an early English certification (Cambridge Flyers). I continuously improve my skills through self-study, teaching practice, and exposure to English in academic and daily contexts.
My teaching approach is student centered and communication focused. I emphasize speaking, listening, and vocabulary development through games, storytelling, visuals, and real-life examples. For young learners, I prioritize learning through play, repetition, and interaction to keep lessons enjoyable and effective. I adapt lesson plans based on each student’s needs, pace, and personality.
As a young teacher, I connect easily with students and understand how to keep lessons dynamic and motivating. I am reliable, patient, creative, and genuinely invested in my students’ progress. My goal is to help learners build a strong foundation in English while developing confidence, curiosity, and a positive attitude toward learning.
