High notes feel forced. Your pitch is inconsistent. A song sounds right one day and feels difficult the next.

You need to understand what is happening and how to work on it.

My strength as a vocal coach is hearing the details behind those difficulties and turning them into clear, practical guidance. Together, we work towards a voice you understand and can rely on.

You work directly with The Gork: singer, multi-instrumentalist, producer, and vocal coach with more than 30 years in professional music and over 25 years of teaching. Qualifications include a Master of Music (M.M.) in Contemporary Performance (Voice) from Berklee College of Music, Boston.

Sessions focus on what your singing needs:

• Breath, posture, and vocal coordination.
• Pitch, range, and resonance.
• Phrasing, expression, and performance.

We apply the technique to songs you want to sing. Instead of repeating a difficult passage and hoping it improves, we explore what makes it difficult, make specific adjustments, and listen to the result. You leave knowing what to practice and why.

The approach draws on Berklee training, professional experience, and the work of Seth Riggs, Melissa Cross, Jo Estill, Brett Manning, Roger Love, Renée Grant-Williams, and Ken Tamplin. We adapt those tools to your voice and your goals. If an exercise or explanation doesn't help, we change the approach.

Whether you are finding your first notes or preparing for a performance, you receive the same careful listening, patience, and honest guidance.

Your first lesson is free. Bring a song you want to sing. We will identify what needs attention and start working on it together.
