İrmak Ablak

My name is Irmak Irine Ablak, and I am an incoming psychology student at Middle East Technical University, studying across the Ankara and Cyprus campuses. I am a deeply curious person passionate about emotional well-being, storytelling, and social bonds. While I don’t yet have professional experience, I believe that impact can begin even before titles — through the way we show up, care, and grow.

During my prep year at university, I joined a musical theatre society and was chosen as the narrator of our production. At first, I was terrified of the responsibility, but I embraced it with all my heart. That experience taught me that we each have a story, and the courage to share it can build powerful connections.

I aspire to combine my interests in psychology and education to create spaces where empathy and learning thrive. I am excited to challenge myself, meet others who lead with purpose, and continue building a future rooted in emotional connection and inclusive growth.
