I am a multilingual educator with previous experience teaching languages and working in international education.
I offer Chinese lessons for students who are starting from zero or have limited exposure to Chinese. As someone who has learned Chinese as a foreign language myself, I understand many of the challenges beginners face and aim to explain Chinese in a simple, practical, and approachable way.
My lessons can include Pinyin and pronunciation, basic vocabulary, everyday conversations, sentence structures, reading, and essential grammar, with a focus on helping students gradually become comfortable using Chinese in real-life situations.
I believe learning a new language should be enjoyable rather than stressful. During lessons, students will have opportunities to practice what they learn through simple conversations, examples, and everyday situations. I can also share learning strategies that have helped me during my own Chinese-learning journey.
My goal is not only to teach vocabulary and grammar, but also to help beginners build confidence and develop a strong foundation for further learning. Mistakes are a natural part of language learning, so students are encouraged to practice without worrying about being perfect.
I also understand that every student learns differently, so I am happy to adjust the lesson style according to individual needs and interests. Whether you want to learn Chinese for travel, everyday communication, personal interest, or simply to explore a new language, we can build your foundation step by step in an enjoyable way.
Lessons will be adapted to each student’s level, learning goals, and pace. I especially welcome complete beginners who want a relaxed and supportive introduction to Chinese.
