I am a qualified EFL educator with a strong academic foundation and diverse international teaching experience. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in English Studies (2018) and a Master of Arts in Cultural Studies: Cultures, Identities, and Nationhood in Morocco (2021) from Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah University. My academic background has equipped me with advanced analytical, communication, and intercultural skills that inform my teaching practice. I also hold a 160-hour Level 5 TEFL Certificate accredited by ITAC, which provided rigorous training in teaching methodology, classroom management, lesson planning, language analysis, and assessment. In addition, I was awarded the Global Teacher Certificate by AIESEC in recognition of my leadership, adaptability, and engagement in cross-cultural education.
Over the past several years, I have taught English across different countries and educational systems, working with learners of various ages and proficiency levels. At Your Language Club in Spain, I facilitated online classes for multi-age groups using the CEFR framework and prepared students for Cambridge English examinations, focusing on exam strategies and communicative competence. At the American School Fez in Morocco, I taught elementary and middle school students, designing structured EFL lessons that supported literacy, vocabulary development, and interactive learning. I also voluntarily taught Moroccan Arabic (Darija) to American teachers using Peace Corps materials, strengthening intercultural exchange and curriculum adaptation skills.
At Maple Bear Global Schools in Morocco, I served as a Lead 5th Grade Teacher under the Canadian curriculum, integrating English language instruction with academic content and fostering critical thinking and student-centred learning. In Turkey, at English Time, I delivered interactive EFL lessons and IELTS preparation courses, helping students improve their Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking skills through targeted practice, feedback, and performance-based assessment.
My strengths include curriculum design, exam preparation, cross-cultural communication, adaptability, and creating engaging, learner-focused classrooms that support both academic success and practical language use.
