Hi! I'm Berna, a CELTA-certified English teacher with a degree in American Culture and Literature. I mainly work with adult learners who want to feel more comfortable and confident using English in real life. Whether you'd like to improve your speaking, express yourself more naturally, build your vocabulary, work on your pronunciation, or simply stop overthinking every sentence before you speak, I'd be happy to help. I believe lessons should be relaxed, supportive, and adapted to the individual rather than following the same formula for everyone. We can focus on conversation and fluency, work systematically on areas you find difficult, or combine both depending on your goals. Having worked in international environments as well as in English teaching, I especially enjoy helping learners bridge the gap between the English they have studied and the English they actually want to use. If you understand quite a lot of English but still don't feel as confident speaking it as you'd like, you're very welcome in my lessons. We can work on it together, one step at a time.
