Beyza Bayrak

I'm Beyza Bayrak. I graduated from the Department of Turkish Language and Literature at Istanbul University. Later, I completed my master’s degree in the field of Turkish Language, and I am currently pursuing a PhD in the same field.

I have been teaching Turkish to foreigners since 2021. What I enjoy most is trying to understand how language works as a system. I also love learning foreign languages myself. I can speak English at a B2 level and Russian at an A2 level.

At the moment, I work as a lecturer teaching Turkish Language courses at a university in Istanbul, while also teaching Turkish online to foreigners. I recently started my own page, and I hope to grow it over time.

I plan my lessons according to my students’ individual goals and needs.

If my student wants to communicate more comfortably with people around them and avoid language barriers while living in Türkiye, I focus more on everyday Turkish and daily conversation.

If my student is also a university student and needs academic Turkish, I teach more grammar-focused lessons at an academic level. In other words, my lessons are completely needs-based.
