I personalize my lessons according to each student’s Turkish level, learning goals, and interests. During the first lesson, I assess the student’s current level and objectives and create a study plan tailored to their needs.
In my lessons, I focus on everyday conversation, correct pronunciation, vocabulary, basic grammar, and listening comprehension. Rather than teaching only through grammar rules, I support each topic with real-life examples, dialogues, and practical speaking exercises. For students who live in Türkiye or want to communicate with Turkish-speaking people, I especially focus on natural expressions that can be used in everyday situations.
Turkish is my native language, and I speak English at an advanced level. This allows me to explain topics clearly in English to beginner-level students when necessary. I aim to create a patient, supportive, and comfortable learning environment where students can speak without being afraid of making mistakes and gradually build confidence in using Turkish.I also adapt the lesson content to practical situations such as ordering food, shopping, travelling, meeting new people, workplace communication, and everyday life in Türkiye. Depending on the student’s goals, we can spend more time on speaking practice, grammar, reading, or listening. I use simple exercises, short dialogues, and regular review to help students remember what they learn and use it naturally. I also encourage students to ask questions and participate actively during the lesson. My aim is to make Turkish easier to understand, enjoyable to learn, and useful in real situations from the very beginning with greater confidence.
