I'm a patient and dedicated online ESL/EFL teacher specialising in Business English and conversational English, with a passion for helping students speak with real confidence.

I have ten years' experience working as a Quantity Surveyor — a profession built on contracts, cost reports, client communication, and stakeholder negotiation — and for five of those years, I also mentored student Quantity Surveyors in the workplace, guiding them through real projects, professional communication, and the day-to-day demands of corporate life. That decade inside a corporate environment gives me a genuine feel for the language working professionals actually use: how to write a clear report, run a meeting, raise a concern diplomatically, or explain a technical issue to a non-technical audience. It's one thing to teach Business English from a textbook; it's another to have lived it.

Over the past year, I've channelled that experience into online ESL/EFL teaching, working with learners ranging from young children aged 6 to 16, through to working professionals refining their Business English.

I hold a Qualifi Level 5 Diploma in TEFL (August 2025) and a BSc Honours degree (2017).

My Business English lessons are fully tailored to each student's industry, role, and goals. Rather than working from generic materials, I build sessions around your real working life — your meetings, your reports, your emails, your colleagues — combining targeted language work with applied tasks drawn directly from your professional context. The five years I spent mentoring student Quantity Surveyors taught me how to give feedback that builds people up rather than knocking them down, and that same supportive, encouraging approach shapes every lesson I teach.
For younger and conversational learners, lessons are warm, lively, and designed to make speaking feel natural and enjoyable.
