Ghazal Rostami

I’m a General English teacher as well as an IELTS instructor. I represent myself as an extroverted and dedicated, multilingual teacher who is deeply interested in applied linguistics and how it impacts our daily lives.

I have been studying English as a foreign language since the age of 8 and I’m a Persian-Azerbaijani bilingual. With the experience I have gained from instructing and mentoring hundreds of students and expanding my knowledge in applied linguistics, I believe I can work with anyone regardless of their age, religion, culture or personality. I also have a native-like American accent in English.

Being a non-native English language user has helped me empathize with the students’ language needs since I have experienced the difficulties they go through in the process of learning. In addition, studying 3 other languages (namely French, Turkish and Arabic) has raised my awareness about the similarities and differences between various cultures, leading to a better and more optimized teaching.
