I am a certified English teacher with face to face and online teaching experience. I have the expertise in teaching English Language and Literature to Turkish and International students. I have an interactive approach such as using prompts, blogs, podcasts, songs, newspaper clips for reading, writing listening and speaking. I prepare formative and summative assessments to keep track of progress. I have experience in coaching delegates for the junior and senior MUN debate. I have taught for fifteen years in international schools that included Turkish and international students. I use different digital platforms for speaking and reading such as twinkle and night zoo keeper and ESL platforms. I take keen interest in encouraging students to interact in real life situations, focus on vocabulary for every day life and improve sentence structure and grammar . For reinforcement, i design customized worksheets and regular quizzes. My English Fluency is C2 and am confident in teaching O level curriculum as well . My interaction with my students is friendly and amiable. I enjoy talking randomly about any topic under the sun with my students. I share funny anecdotes and show song or movie clips for short intervals to break the monotony of the lesson .I can guarantee learning that is enjoyable and fun with diverse strategies to keep the lesson lively and interesting. Regular revision of the topics taught or overcoming challenges is most important to me and i ensure that every minute of the lesson is well utilized and productive for the student.
