In my English lessons, I aim to create a supportive and interactive learning environment where students feel comfortable using the language without fear of making mistakes. I strongly believe that language learning is most effective when students are actively involved, rather than passively memorizing rules. Therefore, my lessons are student-centered and adapted to each learner’s level, goals, and learning pace.
At the beginning of the learning process, I first assess the student’s current level through conversation and simple exercises. This helps me understand their strengths, weaknesses, and specific needs. Based on this assessment, I design a personalized lesson plan that focuses on improving speaking, grammar, vocabulary, and listening skills in a balanced way.
Speaking is a key part of my lessons. Even at beginner levels, I encourage students to speak as much as possible using simple structures. For intermediate and advanced students, I use discussion questions, real-life scenarios, and short presentations to improve fluency and confidence. Grammar is taught in a clear and practical manner, always supported with examples and exercises, so students can immediately apply what they learn.
I also include vocabulary building through everyday topics, articles, and short texts. When appropriate, listening activities such as videos or audio clips are used to improve comprehension and pronunciation. Homework, if given, is light and purposeful, focusing on reinforcing what was covered in the lesson rather than overwhelming the student.
Most importantly, I believe motivation is essential in language learning. I provide constructive feedback, track progress regularly, and encourage students to set achievable goals. My aim is not only to teach English, but also to help students gain confidence and develop a positive attitude toward using the language in real-life situations.
