I am a dedicated English teacher with over five years of experience teaching ESL to diverse learners of all ages. I hold a postgraduate degree in education and a TEFL certification, which have given me a strong foundation in both theory and practise.
My teaching methods are interactive and student-centred. I use role plays and debates to encourage pairwork conversations and listening to understand and not to respond, multimedia, and technology to keep lessons engaging and students engaged. I adapt each lesson to individual needs, whether for beginners who need confidence or advanced students who want to refine their fluency. I foster a safe, supportive environment, where students are encouraged to make mistakes and not feel bad for making them, encouraging students to gain confidence and apply English in real-world context. I also emphasise cultural awareness and critical thinking, ensuring lessons are not only about language but also about communication and personal growth, communicating effectively and confidently.
I also regularly assess progress, suggesting lessons to meet evolving goals, ensuring every student stays motivated and on track.
In addition to teaching I collaborate with colleagues to develop supplemental resources, ensuring consistency and innovation in our curriculum. I also communicate regularly with parents, providing feedback and fostering a supportive learning community. Through these efforts I ensure each student feels seen, supported, and inspired to succeed.
I'm excited to bring my passion, creativity, and experience to your lessons, helping students achieve their goals and thrive in English, regardless of what it is they want to achieve better it, fluency in speaking, expand their vocab or maybe just improve their listening skills. I am the doorway between students and their success.
