Hello, I’m Zeinep. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Foreign Language Education from Middle East Technical University (METU), where I am currently pursuing my Master’s degree. As an international English instructor, my goal is to help students achieve natural, fluent, and confident communication for both academic pursuits and everyday life.
My teaching background spans diverse age groups and specialized learning goals:
Young Learners & MEB Curriculum: Having completed teaching internships at both a prestigious private institution and a public school, I have comprehensive, hands-on familiarity with the national MEB curricula. Additionally, I served as a volunteer English teacher for a 4th-grade student through the Bambu Volunteer Education Platform, designing engaging, age-appropriate lessons that build strong foundational language skills.
Academic Presentation & Speech: Over the course of a year, I worked extensively with adult learners to hone their academic speech, public speaking, and presentation delivery—equipping them to articulate complex ideas with precision and confidence.
University Prep & General Adults: I support university preparatory students facing rigorous academic English demands, as well as adult learners pursuing professional advancement, academic research, or daily communicative fluency.
My methodology integrates all four core language competencies: speaking, listening, reading, and writing. Rather than relying on rote memorization, I emphasize functional language use tailored to real-world contexts. I provide continuous, constructive feedback, working collaboratively with each student to identify strengths and target areas for growth.
Based in Ankara, I conduct all lessons online, allowing me to collaborate seamlessly with students across Turkey and internationally. I offer flexible scheduling and adapt lesson plans to individual needs, with the ultimate mission of transforming English from a standard school subject into an empowering tool for global communication.
