Hi! I'm glad you're interested in learning English :) My name is Thanya and I would love to be your teacher!

I'm a certified TEFL teacher (Teaching English as a Foreign Language). I believe that learning is most effective when there's fun and genuine interest. That's why I would love to teach you yhtough fun activities and topics that actually interest you. Therefore, the lessons may be tailored and personalised to your individual interests and needs.

I love adding structure to lessons as well, by focusing on grammar rules and vocabulary at the beginning of the lesson. I can provide materials and exercises to practice together. At the end of the lesson, there will be plenty of opportunities to practice what you have learnt through fun activities.

The lessons will depend on your current level. In the first class, we may do a short placement test, just so I can identify your level and find out what you already know and don't know. We won't waste time on the topics or grammar rules you already know, but we'll move on to new things so you can have the most productive lesson.

I am also open to helping to proof-read emails or essays which you have already written depending on the tone or style of them, for example, professional, academic or just casual.

At the end of the day, my classes are full of energy and fun, I have a bubbly personality and I also make jokes at times. I hope that you'll feel comfortable in my classes and I can't wait to meet you! :)
